Amphibians play important ecological roles in south Florida wetland ecosystems. They are indicators of ecosystem health because they show the effects of stressors sooner than other organisms. The purpose of this stressor response model is to portray the responses of 10 species amphibians to changes in hydroperiod, vegetation, and salinity. The output of the model is species richness predicted to result from potential Greater Everglades restoration activities.
